Victory
at Spa for Anthony & Barry!
Anthony
& Barry finally took a victory in the SPEED series (formerly
VdeV UK) at their favourite track, Belgium's famous Spa-Francorchamps,
leading from start to finish.

& Anthony finally on the VdeV UK podium!
Anthony
Dunn & Barry Gates finally made it onto the podium at
the final VdeV UK round at Silverstone. "We've
been in a similar position a few times this year, but for
whatever reason it hasn't happened" said Anthony "Hopefully
we can build on this over the winter and into next year".

Setting
the pace at Croft, but an opportunity lost
Anthony,
Barry & the Chevron racing team put on their best performance
of the season in round 7 of the VdeV UK Championship at Croft,
but an early electrical problem in the race thwarted their
ultimate result.

the first time in their car racing career, County Durham partners
Anthony Dunn & Amanda
Whitaker competed against each other on track in VdeV
UK at Croft this weekend.

Hero
to zero at Assen!
Anthony
& Barry were once again in the mix in VdeV UK as the series
made an overseas visit to the Assen
TT circuit in Holland.
Anthony took the lead as the others pitted and kept the car
on the track in very difficult conditions. However,
their strategy backfired as the rain continued, leaving them
falling backwards through the field.

Following
their dramatic pitlane fire at Snetterton 3 weeks ago, Anthony
and Barry finished 6th in VdeV UK this weekend at Brands Hatch
in their Ligier JS49.

Potential Win Goes Up In Flames
A
potential race win for Anthony Dunn & Barry Gates went
up in smoke at Snetterton this weekend after a problem whilst
refuelling took them out of the lead. The Chevron team
did a brilliant job of getting the car back out and the pair
still finished 9th despite the drama.

Anthony
and Barry Gates ended their year successfully winning the
2007 Radical SR3 Enduro British Championship title at Brands
Hatch!
Going
into the weekend the pair had a 23 point lead and the pair
did what they had to do in order to wrap up the championship
in the final race of the year.

Anthony competed in the final of the scholarship. He made
it through to the final and even pipped scholarship host &
International GT driver Tim Sugden's (unofficial) benchmark

Clio Scholarship 2000:

Anthony is competing to win a drive in the 2001 Renault Clio
Sport Championship. The scholarship attracts some 350 hopefuls
and Anthony has so far successfully qualified as 1 of the
30 selected for the pre Final on February 24th at Donington
