Anthony
& Barry carry on winning

Anthony
and race partner Barry Gates continued to set the pace
in the Radical Enduro SR3 championship at Oulton Park.
The
weekend started well with Anthony qualifying on Pole Position
in the SR3 class, over half a second clear of nearest rival
Ben Jackson.

In
the first race on Saturday, Gates was holding a comfortable
2nd position behind Jackson, but a mistake at the Knickerbrook
Chicane caused contact with the tyre barriers badly damaging
the rear wing. The car was still driveable albeit with a
huge loss in downforce and with 25 minutes of the race remaining
a valiant effort was made to finish the race in 2nd position,
with RPM Motorsport team mates Phil Bailey and Bradley Ellis
taking the win.

In
the second race of the weekend on Bank Holiday Monday, this
time Gates made no repeat of his mistake and handed the
car over to Anthony in a close 2nd place despite pressure
from Bailey. Anthony took the lead shortly thereafter and
although was chased hard by Ellis to the chequered flag,
he took the win with fastest lap and once again a new SR3
lap record to boot.

Anthony
& Barry now lie 2nd in the points behind Bailey &
Ellis, closing the gap by a single point over the weekend.
"It was great to finish the weekend with the result
we deserved. Barry's told himself off enough about Saturday's
mistake so I don't think we'll see that one happen again!
I think we've shown we are the quickest pairing - if we
continue to work hard we should be able to fight for the
championship."
The
next race is at Belgium's fantastic Spa-Francorchamps in
a fortnight.
