Donington disaster...but pair vow to fight back

Barry & Anthony had a trying weekend at Donington Park for rounds 9 & 10 of the Radical Enduro championship. Barry had once again shown his progress in practice, lapping less than a second away from his more experienced team mate.

The weekend started well with Anthony snatching pole position in the dying seconds of qualifying, pulling a lap out of the bag that was 4 tenths of a second faster than Nigel Greensall and team mate Bradley Ellis.

Rollercoaster weekend at Thruxton

Barry Gates & Anthony Dunn carried on their battle for the Radical Enduro SR3 championship at Thruxton. The weekend started well with Anthony qualifying on pole position for both races by a clear half a second ahead of championship rivals Phil Bailey & Bradley Ellis. Barry also excelled around the super fast track and set a pace within a second of his team mate in his first time at the circuit.

New Guadix Lap Record with RPM Motorsport

Anthony set a new unofficial lap record with RPM Motorsport during winter testing at Guadix, Spain. Set in one of the team's 1500cc Radical SR3's, the lap of 1 minute 13.95 seconds was done on used tyres and is the fastest recorded time around the track since it has been reprofiled & resurfaced.

2008 car at Autosport show

Anthony proudly revealed the new car that he & Barry Gates will be driving in 2008 at the prestigious Autosport Show at the NEC. The Ligier JS49 is powered by a 250 BHP 2 litre Honda engine with a paddle shift sequential gear box and is capable of speeds over 160mph.

Mazda RX-8 launch

Mazda's innovative new sportscar the Rotary engined RX-8 was launched at Silverstone together with a team of instructors including Anthony. The radical car with it's 'Suicide' rear doors was shown off to Mazda dealers and the delegates were shown all aspects of the cars characteristics including the DSC (Dynamic Stability Control) systems that help to control the car in difficult circumstances.

Subaru Launch North America Summer 2003

Nissan Micra Launch Video

Anthony was employed by Nissan as a Precision Driver for the launch video for their new Nissan Micra. The video was filmed on location in Rome and Berlin.

The annual 24 kart race in Dubai was once again held at the American University of Dubai amid heavy security due to world events. Anthony once again partnered Hunter Abbott, team mate in November 2000. They were joined by fellow instructor and 3 times National Single Seater Champion Amanda Whitaker. Joy and despair in Wales

Van Gessel Racing pair Anthony Dunn and Matthew van Gessel experienced the highs & lows of motorsport at Pembrey, Wales. The Double Header weekend started well with Anthony qualifying fourth, revelling in the wet conditions despite handling difficulties. Michelin Clio Scholarship 2000

Anthony Dunn successfully made it through to the finals of the Michelin Clio Scholarship 2000. Competing against an initial entry of 350 competitors, the scholarship was held over 3 rounds during the winter months to select the most successful 10 to compete in the final on Sunday 25th February. The finalists battled it out over the course of the weekend under the watchful eye of scholarship co-ordinator & International GT driver Tim Sugden.

Nurburgring 24 hour race

Banbury's Anthony Dunn competed in the Nurburgring 24 hour race in Germany this weekend, his first international 24 hour car race.

Dunn was drafted in at the last minute to partner Formula Radical championship leader Rob Garofall and Porsche GT driver Robin Liddell.
